Here are a few funny pics that we’ve collected since our departure…

Spotted in the Air Asia catalog, on a flight from Bangkok to Yangon: get your very own Oakland Raiders Air Asia model plane. (No other NFL teams were offered.) Huh?!

A "growing" for breakfast? What the *&$@!# is a "growing"? Well, it's a croissant that you run through Google Translate.

Working hard in France: The name of this store translates as 8 to Eight, meaning 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. But it's 2:00 pm and the place is closed. Figures... Everything's always closed in southern France.

Seen in a French pharmacy window: Here's how to conjugate the verb "avoir" (to have)... as in having head lice. What a lovely way to learn!

Improper translation in Madagascar: In English, this sign states that plugging in electrical appliances could lead the hotel's generator to malfunction. In French, however, it states that the generator could EXPLODE!

Seen in our hotel room in Amsterdam. What kind of hotels are we staying in? What kind of guests do they have?!? Gypsies?

Florence, Italy. Not quite sure about the significance, but this was right by Dante's house. A fallen angel, perhaps, relegated to installing "Do Not Enter" signs?

Spotted in the Calama airport in Chile. Not quite sure what "buticrac" flavored pizza tastes like, but, uh, I think we'll pass.
